PIM Model with Cascading of Ponds

• Renovation of 2.4 kms defunct minor with joint measurements for construction of network of field channels and interlinking with pond
• Assured effective irrigation in 157 Ha. results in adoption of double cropping and results in WUA+ model for Doubling farmers Income
• Water User Association formed at minor, drafting of rules and regulation for managing the water distribution of water by managing structures collection of irrigation charges
• 4 Exposure visits of WUA members  to Yuvamitra, Nasik
• Laser Land leveling demonstration was done to get effective results of irrigation
• Use of PMKSY scheme for strengthening infrastructure as well as WUA (Estimated cost for WUA strengthening for  <2500 Ha CCA Rs. 1500/ha, for projects >2500 Ha CCA Rs. 1200/ha)
